2 days

In just two short days I'm going to begin my journey to Uganda. I've been preparing for this trip for a few months now and it's hard to believe that I'll be on myway so soon. I'm very excited and cannot wait to see what is in store. I know this will be one of the most challenging experiences of my life but it will also be one of the greatest. While I've been following the blogs of some of the girls who are already there, I'm not sure of what to expect, and I can't wait! I named this blog hope because Ekisa means hope in Luganda. I hope God will use me and my talents to show His love to everyone who I come in contact with and people who read this. I'm also hopeful to learn and appreciate the statement fearfully and wonderfully made. As I begin this journey please keep me and all those who are there in your prayers. I'm also nervous about traveling--it's going to be a long flight and lots of waiting. I know God can erase my fears, but I'm still pretty anxious about it. And also pray for my momma. She's pretty nervous about lots of things, so you can imagine her now. Love you all!
